Did anyone get it? I was in the thick of it at the worst possible time, and honestly I couldn't tell you if anybody had it.

Funny, I just found an article from a generic news site (one I can't verify the validity of), and wow. You are dead on. It sounds like Romania is taking notes from the USA on how to politicize a pandemic. :eusa-shhh:

But look on the bright side! Maybe soon you'll have a glorious leader like ours, and Make Romania Great Again! :violence-guntoting:

Romania just needs more guns. I mean, probably. That seems to solve a lot of problems.

I don't think I've mentioned this on here before, but I basically live in the Texas of Canada. Alberta, oil country, liquid gold, where we have a football team named the Eskimos and people have strong feelings one way or another about why that should or should not be changed. Where if you say anything about investing in renewable energies, people will key your car and tell you to turn your heat off. Speaking of guns... Imagine telling an American gun-lover that maybe there should be a limit to the amount of guns or types of guns someone can own. The reaction you can expect is the same reaction you can expect here if you talk renewables haha. It's so ingrained into people's lifestyles and livelihoods that the very mention of alternatives sends people into a maniacal rage.

OH I had a point. The only businesses here that actually shut down were *' tiny mom and pop specialty shops. Since 90 percent of businesses are involved in or serve in some way the oil and gas industry, most of the business around here has been dubbed essential. Since most people here are conservative gun-nut American wannabes, there are literal protests in the street (not BLM) where people are yelling at people on the street for wearing masks. It's * insane. My boss is a total pick, he told me he actually gets up into people's personal space on purpose just for a laugh, and I imagine he's one of many. People just don't * respect one another anymore. It's somehow become so politically divided that we now see someone across the aisle as our enemy, and treat them as sub-human like a military tactic. Makes me sick.
