What's considered a decent living in Romania? I heard on the radio a while back that Canada has the highest cost for consumer goods in North America, and if I'm not mistaken we also have lower minimum wages than the US. What a gip.

In the U.S. it really really varies by region. I make a lot for Arkansas but if you plopped me down in Manhattan with the same salary I could barely afford an apartment. Though I think a lot of companies will pay you based on the cost of living in the city, but everything from a gallon a milk to luxury goods just depends where you live. That's supply and demand at work.
The U.S. minimum wage is $7.25/hr but a lot of states and cities have higher ones as well.

Well... Normally I'm violently opposed to alcohol, but I have one bottle left from a six-pack that's been in my fridge for ages. So, I'll join you in one single drink.

My opinions on it have been highly affected by other people. I've seen a kid I graduated with get killed in a car accident at 18 from a man who was driving drunk and had at least 12 DUIs, the general mass hysteria created by it from the teen to college-age individuals and the general havoc it's caused, almost killed by someone lighting a fire on a pile of what they thought was just shop scraps but had a paint can that exploded in a jet of flames, and I've seen people (including myself) use it as a coping mechanism to deal with problems in their lives they don't want to deal with and thus inevitably create more distress because they ignored it or provoked it during their drinking.
...But enough about that. Enjoy your drink!

True, but then again it seems everything in life is a double edged sword.
As for me i'm just relaxing, kicking back, dwelling upon things, regretting that I'm out of cigarettes...
Ough, no cigarettes... Now I'm sad.
